1914 Mexico 5 Centavos, PCGS "Cleaned-UNC Detail", Beautiful Toning, Well Struck
We thought that this coin would grade problem-free in the MS range, but it came back as cleaned. No hairlines are visible, so we can only assume that PCGS did not like the color on this coin. The coin possesses a bold hammer strike and excellent eye appeal. We thought about cracking the coin and selling raw, but since PCGS opined that it was cleaned, we decided to leave it "as is."
The example offered here was freshly graded last month and features the NFC (near field communications) technology that just came out this year at PCGS. We put all slabs in protective sleeves or bags to prevent scuff marks. Also, if you are the next owner of this coin, please ask us for all of the high resolution TrueView photos provided by PCGS at no additional cost to you.
